When Garage FR-S launched weeks ago, we posted three commissioned Jon Sibal renderings and asked visitors to let us know via Facebook “like” which one they dug most. The choices consisted of an FR-S with highlights that included FIVE:AD aero and Gram Lights 57Xtremes shod in Toyo rubber (dubbed the “USDM” package); one with JDM OEM exterior bits and SSR Professor MS3s on Nittos (the JDM package); and a last option that featured a super-low chassis riding on Rotiform Race VCE rims wrapped in Falkens (the stance package).

The point of the informal polling was to let visitors help us decide how we should customize the Garage FR-S project car. Well, the voting is now closed and it looks like we have a winner.

After trailing the USDM build for most of the polling period, a final surge of likes in the last days of the contest pushed the Japanese Domestic Market spec Scion rendering over the top. It finished with 488 votes, followed by the USDM version with 428 and the stance version, which registered just 70 likes.

We now move ahead with building the car, which takes into account the will of the people. In addition to the Nitto-wrapped MS3s and JDM bumper fog lights and headlights, front clear side markers, and red "86" emblems, the coupe will also receive Recaro seats, AP Racing front big brakes, HKS intake and exhaust systems, KW Variant 3 coil-overs, Cusco front and rear strut tower braces and oil catch tank, and much more.

We humbly thank you for voting! Stay tuned for build updates in the weeks ahead!
